LISA MARIE’S SAD LEGACY OF PAIN! OVER WONKY WILL!
MOM PRISCILLA SUES
ABATTLE has exploded over Lisa Marie Presley’s $35 million fortune with her mom, Priscilla, challenging a newly found will that leaves her on the outs and puts granddaughter Riley Keough in sole control!
According to sources, the will contains an amendment booting Priscilla, 77, and Lisa Marie’s former business manager Barry Siegel as directors of her trust, which manages assets inherited by her late father, Elvis Presley.
Instead, the document names Mad Max: Fury Road beauty Riley, 33, and her brother, Benjamin, who blew his brains out at age 27 in 2020, as cotrustees. With his death, Riley would have sole control — if the paper holds up in court.
But four days after Lisa Marie’s death, Priscilla, who was Elvis’ only wife, filed a challenge to the “authenticity and validity” of the amendment left by 54-year-old Lisa Marie, who died of cardiac arrest on Jan. 12.
Priscilla claims she and Siegel were named as co-trustees in Lisa Marie’s first Jan. 29, 1993, will and in a later Jan. 27, 2010, document.
But after Lisa Marie’s death, Priscilla found an amendment dated March 11, 2016,
GLOBE / February 20, 2023 excluding her and Siegel. Coincidentally, in 2018, Lisa Marie hit Siegel with a lawsuit accusing him of blowing her fortune through negligence and mismanagement.
But as GLOBE reported, Siegel accused druggie Lisa Marie of wild spending and amassing $40 million in debts.
Now Priscilla says Lisa Marie’s signature on the 2016 amendment “appears inconsistent with her daughter’s usual and customary signature.”
She adds Lisa Marie’s name is misspelled on the amendment and the document was never notarized or delivered to her as required by the
original terms of the trust. Priscilla says she expects Siegel to voluntarily forsake any involvement in the trust and wants the court to name her and Riley as co-trustees.
