MADONNA GETS BAD CASE OF PINK EYE!
Fears young rival will beat her butt in tour showdown
MIFFED Madonna fears her popularity fading — and the grumpy Material Girl worries rival Pink will steal her thunder with a competing summer tour, sources snitch.
Madonna, 64, is kicking off her Celebration Tour on July 15 — but the F**kin’ Perfect singer, 43, will beat her to the punch by launching her Summer Carnival shows on June 7.
“Pink is going to be Madonna’s main competition for selling tickets in an already packed marketplace that includes Taylor Swift, Drake and a dozen other Top 40 superstars,” spills an insider.
“It’s the competition with Pink that’s the most trouble, though, because Pink’s fans have really become this loyal, tight-knit group, and they will follow their idol through the gates of hell if that’s what it takes to see her live!”
The tipster squeals the Like a Virgin singer has plenty to prove after her lackluster Madame X Tour was cut short in 2020 due to her recurring knee injury!
“Madonna isn’t taking any chances, promising right up front she’s going to be playing all the old ’80s and ’90s hits instead of testing out new music,” dishes the insider.
“But that’s exactly the big problem. Madonna is somebody who thrives on taking chances — and to sell this tour, she’s forcing herself to play it safe!”
The spy adds the aging outof-touch diva is also falling out of favor because “Pink’s just way more relatable. She’s this down-to-earth, all-natural mom who isn’t prancing around with toyboys and plumping her face full of fillers!”
