BIG WHEELS SEND SAJAK INTO THERAPY
PEEVISH Pat Sajak’s snooty and mean antics have gotten so bad, his fed-up Wheel of Fortune bosses are shipping him off to anger-management classes to curb his nastiness, sources tell GLOBE.
The cranky 76-year-old game show host has gone after fans, contestants, staff and even his longtime show partner Vanna White, who all think it’s time he gets the arrogant chip off his shoulder, insiders dish.
“Pat’s an angrier man than people even realized,” spills a spy. “They think the best thing is to enroll him in anger management to learn self-control and understand the triggers that get the anger started.
“He’s had so many opportunities to turn it around, but this is his final chance to redeem himself.
“Bosses are sick to death of him, the contestants don’t like him, Vanna won’t speak to him unless she has to on camera.”
Sajak was recently called out again for mocking a contestant’s very real fear of fish by pulling a fake fish out of his pocket and waving it in front of her.
“Ashley, you all right?” the host asked, baiting her. “You’ll forgive me for that, won’t you?”
The horrid host also triggered anger for yanking a contestant’s beard and mocking another player’s lisp.
Sources say it’s the tip of the iceberg for Sajak, whose behavior on camera and off has been rubbing bosses, coworkers, fans and contestants the wrong way for years.
Tattles the insider: “It’s finally dawning on Pat that he needs to change if he wants to continue hosting.
“It’s not about loving the show as much as it is loving his fat paycheck. So he’ll take a couple courses and see what happens.
“But he’s not going to like it!”
