HUBBY ACCUSED OF WIFE’S MURDER BARED MARRIAGE REGRET ON FAMILY FEUD EPISODE

-

THREE years before Timothy Bliefnick was accused of gunning down his estranged wife in her Illinois house, he cruelly guffawed about regretting his marriage on Family Feud!

Now Timothy, 39, is charged with first-degree murder and home invasion after the bulletriddled body of Rebecca Bliefnick, 41, was found in Quincy, which is about 300 miles southwest of Chicago.

A relative made the gruesome discovery on Feb. 23 after the nurse had failed to pick up the on-the-outs couple’s three sons from school.

Back in 2020, the unhappy hubby — along with his parents and siblings — had appeared on an episode of the TV game show. Host Steve Harvey asked, “What’s the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?”

Clean-cut Timothy, who appeared dramatically different from his current longhaired scruffy look, quickly responded, “Honey, I love you — but said ‘I do!’ ”

While the contestant’s family howled with laughter, the cueball emcee glared disapprovingly at the griping groom!

Blabbermouth Bliefnick, who’d tied the knot with Rebecca in 2009, immediately backpedaled by booming, “Not my mistake! Not my mistake! I love my wife.” Then he added, “I’m going to get in trouble for that, aren’t I?”

Deadpan Harvey replied,

“Yes, it’s going to be a lot of hell to pay at your house.”

Timothy is being held without bail at Adams County Jail.

Casey Schnack, the accused killer’s attorney, says the

Family Feud quip is just “a silly answer to a silly question on a silly show” and “doesn’t make one a murderer.”

She insists her client is innocent — despite reports claiming Rebecca sought an order of protection (OP) prior to her death.

Schnack argues, “Seeking an OP in a divorce is not uncommon gameplay in Adams County. The state’s attorney’s office needs a narrative. It appears domestic violence is that narrative.”
