COUNTRY superstar Tim McGraw has released two new albums in the past three years, but wife Faith Hill hasn’t done one in 18 years — and friends fear the blond beauty believes her solo career is kaput!
Faith’s last solo album was 2005’s Fireflies — and since then, she’s only done a Christmas collection.
Back in 2017, the 56-yearold songbird did a bunch of duets with Tim, also 56, leaving sources saying her solo career has dwindled to being her hubby’s sidekick.
Meanwhile, she and Tim teamed for three Soul2Soul tours that smashed box office records and grossed a whopping $250 million.
But now the country hunk is on the road without her and a friend tattles Faith fears hitting the road on her own.
“Tim and Faith do so well as a husband-and-wife act, but Tim doesn’t want to be pigeonholed by that so he tours on his own most of the time, which leaves Faith waiting in the wings,” a friend reveals.
“She has a fear her solo career has passed her by.”
Spies say Hill had good reason for shuttering her career — staying home to raise the pair’s now-adult kids, Gracie, 26, Maggie, 25, and Audrey, 22 — while Tim continued his breakneck career pace.
While he recently snared a No. 1 hit with Standing Room Only, he also tries to boost his wife, but it can be a losing battle, insiders tattle. However, her rep insists talk of
Faith forsaking a solo career is “ridiculous,” noting “she spent a year filming and starring in 1883.” However, Tim was also a major player in the Yellowstone spinoff!
“With their girls grown, Tim is telling Faith to go for broke,” another friend snitches. “But Faith believes she took too much time off and doesn’t think she can compete with the new crop of gal singers, and is afraid of failing. It’s a crisis of confidence.”
