D.A. FANI ADMITS SHE GOT INTO HER ASSISTANT’S BRIEFS
GEORGIA D.A. Fani Willis has finally fessed up about her “personal relationship” with special prosecutor Nathan Wade — who she’s paid more than $600,000 in public funds to be on her team prosecuting Donald Trump for racketeering and conspiracy to overturn the 2020 presidential election!
The Fulton County district attorney admits she has a cozy connection with the legal eagle she’s sicced on the former POTUS, but insists the couple’s private business shouldn’t disqualify her — or her office — from the highly charged case!
Meanwhile, Wade swears the twosome’s hush-hush hoedown didn’t begin until after she hired him — despite a now-sealed divorce settlement.
But critics note his appointment was announced on Nov. 1, 2021, and he filed for divorce from Joycelyn Wade — his wife of more than 26 years — the very next day!
As GLOBE reported, Willis zipped her lip for weeks after Trump political operative Michael Roman — one of the rabid Republican’s 18 co-defendants in the racketeering case — accused her of having an “improper, clandestine” romance with Wade.
In bombshell legal briefs, Roman demanded all criminal charges against him be dismissed on conflict-ofinterest grounds due to the secret fling. The filing argued Willis hired her underqualified “boyfriend” for the $250-an-hour gig and claimed he paid for their trips to the Caribbean and California’s Napa Valley! As GLOBE also reported, the racy fling sparked outrage from the former commander in chief, who fumed Willis is “totally compromised” and her case against him and his cronies “has to be dropped!”
