Bible cult believes ritual sacrifice fulfills End Times prophecy
RELIGIOUS zealots have collected specially bred blemish-free red Texas cattle to bring the End of Days with a blood sacrifice based on Bible prophecy!
Israeli Rabbi Yitshak Mamo and his followers in the Uvne Jerusalem cult are importing red cows from Texas to fulfill a doomsday scenario that’s also believed by many evangelical Christians. Mamo found the right beasts 7,000 miles away from Jerusalem, saying: “After a long search, we found Texas Red Angus.”
Now, he’s following the directions in the Book of Numbers to bring the End of Days.
According to the scripture, the Hebrew God declared, “Speak unto the children of Israel that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came a yoke.”
Once found, the holy cow is to be burned on a pyre of cedar, hyssop and a strand of scarlet thread on the large white altar Mamo built on a plot of land overlooking the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
The ceremony has to be performed while looking at the site of the Second Temple, destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D.
Once the cow’s sacrificed, the Third Temple is to be built heralding a new era.
Evangelical Christians believe it signals the End Times, the return of Jesus to Earth and the Rapture, when believers are taken to Heaven.
Religious Jews believe the new era is a return to the laws of the Bible and people living a holy life.
Mamo brushes off critics who say his belief that the cow sacrifice will begin the march to the End of Days is just a story.
“Harry Potter is a good story. The Bible is not a story,” he says. “The Bible is a way of God to lead us.”
