Courtney Love trashes boring Taylor Swift!
OVER-THE-HILL grunge rocker Courtney Love is trashing today’s gal singers starting with superstar Taylor Swift, who she slams as “not interesting” or “important.”
The 59-year-old Hole wildwoman finds 34-year-old Taylor a bit tame for her taste.
Grunge rock legend Kurt Cobain’s widow slams the wholesome 14-time Grammy winner, saying: “Taylor is not important. She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.”
She also took a shot at Taylor’s songbird pal Lana Del Rey, suggesting “she should really take seven years off.”
As for Beyoncé, whose country music album is soaring in the charts, she says: “I like the idea of Beyoncé doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed.”
But on the whole, “I just don’t like her music.”
The former alternative rocker, who’s previously admitted being a heroin junkie and was wed to Nirvana frontman Cobain when he killed himself at age 27 in 1994, triggered a firestorm with her views, especially from Swifties.
“100 years from now, the name Courtney Love will mean nothing,” a Tay-Tay fan fumes.
Another adds, “Not a single person will know who she is. But when Taylor is mentioned, people will remember how she was able to connect with millions of people through her music, cherished her fans and fought for artists’ rights.”
A third writes, “Courtney Love always coming for women younger and prettier than her, like go find something to do granny.”
