Ba Na Hills Rolls Out Golf Pass Program
As Ba Na Hills Golf Club celebrates its second anniversary, the Central Coast course is teeing up a first in Vietnam — a program that incentivizes golfers to rack up the rounds during Danang’s low season.
Available for USD 1,000, the club’s 6-Month Access Card allows pass holders to play as much as they want at ‘Asia’s Best Golf Course’ from April through November.
“The golf enthusiast is going to really love this deal,” said Tim Haddon, the club’s general manager.
In addition to saving money in the long run, card holders qualify for numerous benefits including: free cart usage on Tuesdays; 10-percent discounts in the pro shop, at the driving range and in the clubhouse restaurant; preferred tournament entry fees; and one
complimentary round for a guest.
As well, the pass provides access to over 100 golf clubs across six continents with IMG Prestige, an elite reciprocal program featuring a network of premier golf properties that have a close association with IMG.
Ba Na Hills GC, which is managed by IMG, also has two options for those interested in a year-long arrangement. The ‘12-Month Weekday Only’ card costs USD 1,400, while the ‘12-Month Full Access’ plan is priced at USD 2,300.
“Out of all the cards, the 12-month, weekday-only choice provides the best bang for your buck,” said Haddon. “If you played twice a week for a year you’d basically be enjoying the best available rate the club has to offer across the board.”
Designed by Luke Donald in collaboration with IMG, Ba Na Hills GC has recorded some heady achievements since opening in March 2016.
In 2017 alone, it won ‘Asia’s Best Golf Course’ at the World Golf Awards and ‘Vietnam’s Best Golf Course’ at the Vietnam Golf Awards.
The parkland-style layout is located about 30 minutes west of downtown Danang, the gateway to central Vietnam.
