My Neighbor in Need celebrates 13 years of service
The service www.myneighborineed.org, providing local residents a way to ask for help from their community and a way for the community to give back, is celebrating its 13-year anniversary.
Created by Great Falls resident Dave Snuggs and launched on March 20, 2012, My Neighbor in Need has completed 17,978 need fulfillments. In 12 years, My Neighbor in Need has received just over 20,245 requests for help and has fulfilled 88% of those requests, according to Snuggs. The Great Falls Tribune prints a column of need requests every Sunday, and STARadio showcases needs each week.
Anyone in need is encouraged to submit on-line at www.myneighborinneed.org, call (406) 750-2542 or stop by the office inside Times Square at 525 Central Ave, Suite M4, in downtown Great Falls.
