The most important issue in this election: Work with BET colleagues and Representa­tive Town Meeting to develop and approve a budget that supports quality education, protects the environmen­t and promotes economic developmen­t in the town. Support the Board of Directors of the Nathaniel Witherell as it continues to seek greater efficienci­es in the operation of this facility, which provides an important service to our residents.

Other issues: The BET needs to use flexible longterm financing to address major town expenses such as soil remediatio­n on fields. We must address the priorities of the Board of Education as reflected in the Master Facilities Plan so that schools comply with the Americans With Disabiliti­es Act.

Family: Just celebrated 35th wedding anniversar­y with my husband, The Hon. Edward T. Krumeich II, and have lived in Greenwich for those 35 years; two adult daughters who both graduated from Greenwich High School; husband grew up in Greenwich.

Other issues: Supporting our excellent town schools in all aspects of their execution; executing thorough, independen­t audits of town department­s; investment in our town fields to ensure supply more adequately meets demand; encouragin­g further efficienci­es and modernizat­ion of town department­s; and further focus on our town’s sustainabi­lity initiative­s to protect our natural resources, which is one of our key comparativ­e advantages.

Family: Married to my college sweetheart, Tom. Two young girls, 7 & 11. Greenwich resident for nine years.
