The most important issue in this election: Achievement has been stagnate despite having the highest paid teachers and spending more per pupil than any other town in Connecticut. I plan to spend as much time as possible getting to bottom of this and work with our superintendent to make changes that will meaningfully improve achievement for all students.

Other issues: There are so many. Let’s start with special education, spending, fields, and the Capital Plan. The BoE needs to dig into these issues, listen to the parents and the community we serve and make educated decisions on what is best for our community.

Family: My husband and I have lived in Greenwich for the past 10 years with our three daughters. Our oldest is in eighth grade at CMS and we have two at NSS in fifth and second grade. We are always on the go between some athletic or music activity. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly in motion juggling more balls than we can count. Life is never dull in our house.

Previous elected offices, community group affiliations: I have regularly volunteered at NSS. I have coached several soccer teams through the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department over the years.
