The Yankees finally lose

-

They may be the winningest team in baseball, but when it comes to which stadium will lose the most revenue as a result of the COVID-19 health crisis, the Bronx Bombers are ahead of the pack.

In an analysis of potential stadium revenue loss, Forbes estimated in April that the Yankees will lose $470 million, far and away more than any other team in Major League Baseball.

Coming in second is the Boston Red Sox, who stand to lose $366 million in stadium revenue. In third is the Cubs, who won’t make $321 million in revenue they otherwise might have.

The Mets, by the way, are 12th on the list. That team will lose a comparatively paltry $161 million as a result of the coronavirus.
