Craig Bowman, aged 74, of Warminster, PA died peacefully at his home on February 9, 2021 surrounded by his family. Craig was born on October 28, 1946, in Washington, PA, the son of Douglas and Esther (McMorris) Bowman.

Craig graduated from Bucknell University in 1968 and Cornell Law School in 1971, where he was a member of the Cornell Law Review. Following law school and a year studying international law at Amsterdam University, he began a long and successful career as an attorney and corporate executive.

He married his wife Cheryl on September 16, 1978. Together they raised three children and were married for over thirty-nine years, until her passing in 2017. Craig’s children and grandchildren were forever his greatest source of pride.

Craig was a devoted husband and father, and a loyal friend. With a sharp mind and an incredible sense of humor, he was always cracking jokes and laughing. He had a knack for storytelling and kept everyone rolling with tales of his hilarious misadventures. Always the life of the party, Craig loved music, singing and dancing, almost as much as he loved a good nap. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he shared with all those he knew will continue to bring a smile.

Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Hedin Bowman, and sister, Jean Mortensen. He is survived by his son, Ian Bowman and his wife Suzanne, daughter Katelyn Beck and her husband Talbot, and daughter Sarah Dougherty and her husband Cole. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Axel, Duncan and Charlotte Bowman, Jack and Bowman Beck, and Piper Dougherty.

A private service will be held and his ashes will be laid to rest alongside his wife at Calvary Episcopal Church in Summit, NJ.
