The Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence celebrated summer while raising funds with a recent “tee party.”

A total of 37 teams of four people competed in the minigolf tournament, which organizers called a “tremendous success.”

More than 200 people gathered June 13 for the second annual event, which was hosted by the Parsonage Cottage Junior Advisory Board. A mini-golf course was set up on the Parsonage Cottage’s grounds for the fundraiser.

“We had the opportunity to see many old friends and even made some new ones,” said Penny Lore, Parsonage Cottage’s executive director. “We are so impressed by the creativity of the teams and their enthusiastic support of Parsonage Cottage. Our residents enjoyed watching the grounds abuzz with such excitement and activity. We are so grateful to our Junior Advisory Board and their commitment to supported ing Parsonage Cottage and our efforts to provide a full spectrum of enriching services and activities to the residents.”

First Selectman Fred Camillo and Selectwoman Lauren Rabin were among those in attendance.

The Bogey Boys won the lowest score of the tournament, and the Best Team Costumes award went to the Lemon Drop Kids, Fore Mulligans, Barnyard Girls and I’m Ape for Parsonage Cottage.

The advisory board is made up of Anne O’Connor, Abby Barnett, Maddie Wise, and Jacie Erensen from Sacred Heart Greenwich; Ryan Crowley and Tito Miguens from Greenwich Country Day School; and Robby Duncan and Will Duncan from Brunswick School. They were supported by Parsonage Cottage Board members Mimi Santry and Park Duncan, who serve on the Parsonage Cottage Fundraising Board.

Sponsors included Assisted Living Locators, Atria Senior Living of Rye Brook, Greenwich Communities, LCB Senior Living, Splash Car Wash, and the John L. and Sue Ann Weinberg Foundation.
