Virginia Liddel

Virginia “Ginge” Sheaff Liddel passed away peacefully Saturday March 19th, 2022, two days shy of her 91st birthday .She leaves behind her three adoring children Robert Lee Liddel Jr. and his wife Mary Jane of Shelton, CT, Elizabeth Liddel Glazer and her husband Tom from Lido Beach, New York and Joan Liddel McCaw of Bradenton, FL Grandma Ginge leaves behind 7 Grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren), Robert (Katherine), Andrew (Rebekah), Emily (William), James (Carrie), Thomas and Katharine and 10 great grandchildren who adored their “GIGI”.

She will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law Dr. Gerald Liddel and family and dear Bedell nieces and nephews. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents L’Huillier and Mabelle Sheaff, beloved husband Robert Liddel, sister Barbara Bedell (Richard) and son-in-law Kim McCaw. Virginia is a graduate of Riverside Elementary School, Greenwich Academy , Sweet Briar College and New York Paralegal School . She was a lifetime resident of the Riverside area and leaves behind many friends from Riverside Acres. Edgehill and the First Congregational Church. She was a paralegal with Badger Fisher Cohen and Barnett and a devoted volunteer at The Rummage Room, First Church and Meals on Wheels. A Memorial Service will be held on May 14, 11:00 am at The First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich.
