Scene… Grammy Award-winning record producer and Bedford, N.Y., resident Clive Davis was seen having dinner at MOLI restaurant on Greenwich Avenue last Friday evening.

Out there…Stamford Downtown's Alive at Five four-week concert series is kicking off with a performanc­e by rapper Lil Jon, former front man of the rap group Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, on July 13 at 5 p.m. in Mill River Park. General admission tickets are $25 in advance, $40 the week of the concert. For tickets, visit stamford-downtown.com. Only those over the age of 21 will be admitted.

Scene… Singer-songwriter Mariah Carey was the guest of honor at Playland in Rye, N.Y. over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, visiting the popular park for her Daydream record's platinum party and the Fresh Air Fund's Camp Mariah. Carey is no stranger to the amusement park where she rode the roller coaster with her children back in 2019, and filmed and directed her music video “Fantasy” in 1995.

Scene… New York Knicks head coach Tom “Thibs” Thibodeau was seen having dinner with his nephews on the patio at Mediterran­eo in Greenwich on June 24.

Out there… Three Greenwich eateries, Townhouse, Rebeccas and L'escale were recently awarded Wine Spectator's 2023 Restaurant Awards. This year's awards program recognized 3,505 dining destinatio­ns from 50 states throughout the U.S. and over 70 countries worldwide.

Scene… Pianist Joyce DiCamillo recently performed at the Syracuse Jazz Fest with her longtime trio featuring Todd Strait on drums and Yoshi Waki on bass. DiCamillo, a jazz pianist/ recording artist and music educator, is a Stamford native and longtime Greenwich resident. In 2014 she launched Project Music, a free, intensive, after-school music program serving Stamford students.

Out there… After a 3-year wait due to the COVID-19 pandemic, St. Catherine's Carnival of Fun is back. The carnival which takes place July 12 through July 15, from 6 to 10 p.m. nightly on the grounds of St. Catherine of Siena Church on Riverside Avenue, is offering rides, games, the traditiona­l pizza fritte, as well as a variety of local food vendor tents.
