SoNo Collection mall tenants revealed

Apple, H&M, Victoria’s Secret and more listed in applicatio­ns

NORWALK — Apple, H&M, Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works are some of the tenants filling up the SoNo Collection mall.

About 30 tenants in addition to the two anchors — Bloomingda­les and Nordstroms — have filed applicatio­ns with the city’s Planning and Zoning Department for tenant fitouts.

Apple, which submitted its applicatio­n in June, plans to utilize 8,401 gross square feet inside the mall. Apple currently has stores in Stamford and Trumbull. Apple stores feature a variety of products, such as iPhones, iMacs and iPads, as well as a Genius Bar for support and classes.

H&M, which offers women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessorie­s, will be one of the largest, nonanchor stores, so far, as a twolevel project proposed for 25,313 gross square feet.

Victoria’s Secret, which features women's lingerie, womenswear and beauty products, will have 7,567 square feet and will include its PINK brand as well.

Bath and Body Works, which offers lotions, soaps, candles and other body care products, will have 3,334 square feet of space inside.

Abercrombi­e and Fitch, which features men’s and women’s casual apparel, along with Abercrombi­e Kids will also both open up inside. Abercrombi­e and Fitch is set to take 5,600 square feet while Abercrombi­e Kids will be over 3,000 square feet.

Hollister, which traditiona­lly target teenagers and young adults with its clothing, plans to utilize 5,000 gross square feet.

Talbots, a specialty retailer and direct marketer of women's clothing, shoes and fashion accessorie­s, will be a 6,013 square foot tenant.

White House Black Market, along with Chico’s both of which features upscale women’s clothing will join the list of tenants, with White House scheduled to take 3,400 square feet and 2,971 square feet for Chicos.

Altar’d State, a women’s fashion store will utilize 9,391 square feet of space.

Lush, known for its bath, beauty and cosmetic products will have 2,095 square feet of space.

Kay Jewelers, known particular­ly for its engagement rings, will have 1,804 square feet. Journeys, a shoe store, will have 1,750 square feet inside the mall.

Pandora, a jewelry store famous for its bracelets, will have 750 square feet of space, while Cohen Fashion Optical, featuring eyeglasses, sunglasses and other fashion lenses will have 1,434 gross square feet.

EQ3, a modern furniture store, will have 9,354 square feet inside the mall. A Tutti Nails and Spa Salon will have about 1,500 square feet insider. L’Occitane, a retailer of body, face, fragrances and home products, will take over 626 square feet.

Previously reported store s include J. Jill, Sephora, Soma and Zara.

Made in China, a restaurant that’s proposed for the top level of the property, joins Yardhouse and Pinstripes as those serving food onsite. Two eateries inside of Nordstrom’s — Bazille and an Ebar cafe also filed applicatio­ns with the department.

According to Nordstrom’s website, Bazille serves “internatio­nally sourced wines and handcrafte­d cocktails” along with appetizers, salads, brickoven pizzas and our tempting housemade desserts. Ebar serves prepared espresso drinks, coffee, fresh pastries, healthy snacks, grabandgo lunch options and madetoorde­r smoothies.

The SoNo Collection could also feature a “CAMP” property, according to plans submitted in June. CAMP, which currently has one location in New York, features a mix of retail and entertainm­ent for children. According to its website, “Camp is a Family Experience Store.”

Inside the building, there are “rotating themed experience­s,” such as music, yoga, arts and food classes. The plans have 9,268 square feet set aside for this potential tenant.

The mall is slated to open in October 2019.
