Arzeno ‘creates opportunity’
The 151st District is incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to vote for Hector Arzeno this November.
I met Hector almost three decades ago. Back then, I was a young corporate lawyer at a major global law firm. Hector was a highly respected senior executive at a very important client. Over the years, I worked closely with Hector and his entire team on multiple finance and business transactions. I credit much of my successful legal career to the opportunities Hector created for me. Back in the 1990s, it was uncommon for a young woman to lead on complex corporate transactions. I still remember that afternoon, in 1994, being one of only two women in a conference room full of male corporate executives and investment bankers in dark suits in the middle of a tense negotiation. All heads turned to me, when Hector asked, “Priscilla, what do you think?” With that one simple question, Hector validated me and my work, and continued to do so for years.
That is Hector. He creates opportunity for all people. He treats everyone equally and with respect. He brings people together. He listens. He leads in a confident but friendly way. I went on to become the youngest partner at my law firm, thanks to the platform and visibility Hector gave me.
There are so many other reasons why the 151st District should vote for Hector. He understands the importance of small businesses and their contributions to a local economy. He cares about the environment. He is a family man (and a proud grandfather!) and a loyal friend. He brings an abundance of youthful energy, optimism and curiosity to everything in his life. He will bring his many years in business to serve the public — that means all of you. What good fortune for Greenwich — you couldn’t ask for a better public servant.
