Realtor is expertly poised to help with relocations
Julia Allan is a native of London, where she was born and raised and went on to study economics at the London School of Economics.
She began her professional career in London, working in finance for the City of London.
She and her husband began their family, and Allan took a professional pause to devote her attention to raising their four children. In 2006, her husband’s career path led them to the United States. They’ve lived in Greenwich ever since.
Allan is an enthusiastic promoter of the town and all its diverse regions and neighborhoods. As a Realtor with the Greenwich brokerage office of Houlihan Lawrence, she enjoys sharing her own Greenwich discoveries with her clients.
In addition to working with buyers and sellers across Greenwich, she also works with clients in Stamford and other nearby markets.
One of the attributes that distinguishes Allan in the realm of Fairfield County real estate is that she personally managed an overseas move.
She’s adept at guiding her relocation clients — whether they’re coming from other countries or other States — through the process of buying a home, moving and settling into their new homes and communities.
Allan is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, Greenwich Association of Realtors, and the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service (GMLS). She is currently serving on the Greenwich Association of Realtors’ International Committee.
During her years as a Greenwich resident, Allan has been active in the community. She has served on numerous fundraising committees, including for organizations like Time for Lyme and the Undies Project. She was the president of her private-road association in backcountry, and is also engaged in local schools. She was the former chair of the host-family program at Rye Country Day School and is currently chair of the New Families Committee at Greenwich High School.
Allan enjoys travel, dining out, tennis, and going to the beach and on ski trips with her family.
