Agent goes above and beyond for clients
When Sarah Huo decided to move to Greenwich from Manhattan more than 10 years ago, she became fast friends with her real estate agent, Richard Breglia. It was Breglia who suggested that Huo consider a new career in real estate. The two forged a real estate partnership, which has since grown to a formidable team at the Greenwich office of William Raveis. She maintains licenses in both Connecticut and New York.
Looking back, it was a wise leap of faith for Huo, who said that helping people find the right homes makes her feel as though her professional life is both challenging and meaningful.
One of Huo’s favorite things about working in Greenwich real estate is the people she encounters—her clients, as well as other agents and their buyers and sellers. She prides herself on helping families identify the perfect Greenwich neighborhood to suit their budgets and lifestyles, and she considers herself not a salesperson but a service provider.
“Buying or selling a home is exciting and can be very stressful at times. My goal is to ensure each transaction goes as smoothly as possible,” she said.
Huo also values the relationship she builds with her clients. Many become good friends. “It’s an honor to earn their trust,” she said.
Born in Taiwan, Huo is also fluent in Mandarin, which has allowed her to assist customers with language barriers, during their real estate transactions and beyond. For example, one of her clients recently contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized. She acted as a liaison between the family and the hospital. “It’s a privilege to be able to provide such help,” she said.
Prior to real estate, Huo worked in graphic design, so she’s tech savvy and skilled at marketing and advertising. She enjoys volunteering with local charitable organizations and events, and she sings with both her church choir and the Greenwich Choral Society.
