Greenwich Associatio­n of Realtors joins brokerage

Bryan Tunney, of Greenwich, has joined Brown Harris Stevens, a privately owned real estate brokerage, as executive vice president and managing director of sales in Greenwich.

Tunney is president of the Greenwich Associatio­n of Realtors.

An 18-year real estate industry expert, Tunney will work alongside managing director of sales Joann P. Erb to support and manage the sales volume of the more than 30 agents in the office.

Tunney has been recognized by The Real Deal as a Greenwich Top Producer in 2017 and by RealTrends as one of the Best Real Estate Agents in America in 2022.

He was awarded the Greenwich Realtor of the Year award in 2014 by the Greenwich Associatio­n of Realtors. Along with his role as president of the Greenwich Associatio­n of Realtors, he is on the executive board and treasurer of the Connecticu­t Associatio­n of Realtors and on the board of directors of the National Associatio­n of Realtors. He is also a board member of the Transporta­tion Associatio­n of Greenwich.

His 18 years of experience in the real estate industry were preceded by careers as a government bond broker and as president of a small computer company. A resident of Greenwich for more than 25 years, he is an advisory board member, coach and original founding member of Greenwich Youth Lacrosse. Tunney is a business economics graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he played lacrosse. He enjoys his free time on Long Island Sound. Brown Harris Stevens is the largest privately owned real estate firm on the East Coast with 2,500 agents and more than 50 offices across New York City, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, Connecticu­t, South Florida, and New Jersey.
