Compass Realtor Brittany Baity leverages background as a luxury-goods buyer in her work as a Greenwich Realtor today
Brittany Baity began her professional career as part of Bloomingdale’s executive training program. She studied business administration, marketing and Italian, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She’s also an accomplished athlete and was a two-time All-American hurdler.
Baity’s career at Bloomingdale’s expertly prepared her for her future work in residential real estate. As a buyer, she learned to “recognize good value” and also honed her negotiation skills.
“I feel that my experience as a buyer at Bloomingdale’s has helped me to have a keen eye for opportunities and enabled me to have strong negotiation skills. I also feel that my willingness not to settle and total focus on my clients’ needs and desires sets me apart,” Baity told Greenwich Time. She’s joined Realtor Jenny Allen’s team at Compass Connecticut’s Greenwich brokerage, working with both buyers and sellers. She prides herself on her work ethic. Baity is analytically minded, diligent, proactive and reliable — all traits that serve her well in real estate.
She grew up in Westchester County and lived in New York City for many years before settling in mid-country Greenwich five years ago. Moving from the city to Greenwich gave her keen appreciation for the transition many of her clients make as they relocate to Greenwich.
She’s a member of both the Greenwich Country Club and Winged Foot Golf Club. She’s a longtime supporter of Lyndsey’s TLC Foundation and of the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and entertaining, reading, and spending time at the beach or playground with her children.
