Berkshire Hathaway Realtor is local market expert, with special insight into Fairfield County equestrian properties
Patricia White is a Realtor with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, New England Properties’ brokerage at 136 E. Putnam Avenue. She was drawn to the brokerage’s customer-first philosophy. “I started selling real estate early on, when my children were young,” she recalled to Greenwich Time. “I stepped out of the business for a bit, only to return in 2016.” During that pause in her career as a Realtor, White was still engaged in real estate. She worked as a project manager for a local builder—a role that required her to apply for permits and navigate townhall records.
“There is so much you can discover about a house at Town Hall,” she said. “Most times when I am working with a seller, I can locate the property plan, building plans, and provide the work permit history for a property. All of this information is vital to home sellers, buyers and fellow Realtors.”
White is licensed in Connecticut and works with clients across Fairfield County, and especially in Greenwich and Stamford. “The best part of the job is the relationships built,” White remarked. “Some of my buyers I have known since they were children. Being part of their lives in this way is very special to me. I work with a lot of clients just coming into our area. Sometimes they are renters or purchasing. We develop a bond that can last a lifetime. I am deeply grateful to work in a profession that I love.”
She knows the Greenwich market particularly well. She grew up here and is a proud Greenwich High School graduate. She studied psychology at UCONN, before choosing real estate as her career path.
In 2022, Berkshire Hathaway recognized her high-achieving sales record with the Leading-Edge Society award.
White has particular expertise in equestrian properties. She’s a member of the Greenwich Riding & Trails Association (GRTA). “I am an avid equestrian, and if there is a horse property in Connecticut, chances are that I am familiar with it and some of the riders,” she noted.
For more than 20 years, White has resided in Old Greenwich. “I raised my three daughters here in Greenwich,” she recalled. “They attended the public schools, and we really took advantage of all that Greenwich has to offer. This is a wonderful town, offering so many diverse programs for kids of all ages.”
