Anthony Michael Adonetti
We sadly announce the sudden passing of Anthony Michael Adonetti, 85, of Greenwich, Connecticut who died on March 10, 2023. Anthony was born in Newark, New Jersey to Joseph and Anna (Colasanti) Adonetti, who predeceased him. He grew up in New Rochelle, New York where he graduated from New Rochelle High School and then continued his education at Westchester Community College and received an Associates Degree in Construction Technology. After college, Anthony joined the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959 and throughout his life he was extremely patriotic, proudly flying the American flag as well as always wearing his Marine Corps pin.
After the Marine Corps, Anthony started his career in construction sales with Waco and Pecco and then in 1973 he successfully started his own business in construction equipment and engineering called Structural Contours, Inc. which grew globally and became his passion for the next 45+ years.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Patricia (Lyle) Adonetti, his two daughters Anne O’Hagan (Mark) of Trumbull, Connecticut and Christine Adonetti (Nick) of Vero Beach, Florida, step-daughter Sherri Caporizzo (Danny) of Stamford, Connecticut, step-son Scott Caporizzo (Susie) of Stamford, Connecticut, his brothers, Frank Adonetti (Patricia) of Wappingers Falls, New York and Joseph Adonetti (Rose Marie) of Holtsville, New York and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Anthony will be forever loved and remembered by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the entire ICU staff at Greenwich Hospital/Yale New Haven Health for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers.
Calling hours will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, Connecticut on Wednesday, March 15th from 3:00 pm – 7:00pm. A private burial will be held with the immediate family.
