Thousands of eggs hiding downtown

Perhaps you hide Easter eggs for your children or grandchildren inside and outside, around your house. And it might be hard to guess exactly how many. Possibly 10, 20 or maybe even 30? Well, the recreation division of the city of Fort Myers ups the game quite a bit. It adds a couple more zeros—hiding about 4,000 eggs in Centennial Park for its Annual Spring Egg Hunt.

No registration is required to attend the free event. However, participating children must be 6 years old or younger, be able to search on their own and should have a basket to collect the eggs. After the hunt, there’ll be additional activities for kids of all ages to enjoy. And of course the Easter Bunny will make an appearance, too.
