Hardesty FFA starts annual fundraiser

- By Aspyn Martin aspynmartin@yahoo.com

The Hardesty FFA Chapter has a busy week coming up, as they just started selling Blue and Gold Meats and DJ Meats. They are also having their chapter officer interviews Wednesday, August 26. Advisor Alicia Carpenter said, “It is important to support our FFA Chapter. Not only is this fundraiser a long-standing tradition, but it is important to us to raise as much money as possible this year due to our rise in FFA members. Being able to raise a substantial amount of money will allow our chapter to attend Career Development Events, Supervised Agricultural Experiences, and Leadership Development Events which are crucial things the Hardesty FFA members need to be a part of. We are striving to make this a record year, and with the help of our community, our goals can become reality.” If you would

like to buy any products from Hardesty FFA, you can reach out to one of their members or email the Agricultural Education teacher Alicia Carpenter

at: acarpenter@ hardesty.k12.us. The members earn points from the products they sell with which they can win a prize. Check out the Hardesty FFA Chapter page to see prices and pictures of all the great products they

have for sale; they also have an online ordering platform for people that are in quarantine or who are choosing to social distance! Some of the products they are selling are cookie dough, bacon, sausage, chicken tenders and so much

more! Don’t forget these products are not sold in stores, so you do not want to miss out on this opportunity, not only for your benefit but also for the Hardesty FFA chapter members.
