Michael Glenn Hollis; born Zed Bancroft May 6, 1945, passed from this life on January 3, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family in McPherson, Kansas.

As a baby, Mike was brought home to the family farm and ranch at just six weeks of age. There he was raised and loved unconditionally by his parents Lester Ermin and Lulu Bell (Wyatt) Hollis. Mike married Marilyn Sue Eddleman on June 6, 1965 and together they raised 2 daughters, Natasha and Amber.

The family farm and ranch was his passion. He loved the panhandle prairie, its hardy people, open skies and the most beautiful sunsets on Earth. An avid outdoorsman, Mike loved hunting and fishing and the tall tales that accompanied his adventures. Best known for his kindness and strength, he was always willing to help others before himself

Raised as an only child, Mike had the opportunity of a lifetime in 2016 to meet his birth family. Finding he was the first born of 10 siblings filled his heart with joy.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Lester Ermin and Lula
