Robert Lee Reeder

Robert “Bob” Reeder, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of John Curtis and Rose (Westmoreland) Reeder, he was born November 30, 1927 in Guymon. Bob graduated from Guymon High School, and attended Junior College in Clifton, Texas, where he met his bride. He was united in marriage to Jean Anderson on August 8, 1948 at Oslo Lutheran Church.

Elk’s Lodge and an avid golfer. He owned and operated D&J Clothing in Guymon for several years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Jean, on April 28, 2019, and son, Stephen Lee Reeder in 1964.

He is survived by two children: Susan Livesay and husband, Darrel of Guymon, and Tim Reeder of Centennial, Colorado, a daughter-inlaw, Sharon Reeder of Kansas City, Missouri. Survivors also include five grandchildren: Kendra & Jeff Smith of Enid, Oklahoma, Kylee & Austin Corder of Guymon, Cole & Ellaine Reeder of Hartford, Connecticut, Grant & Meg Reeder of Parker, Colorado, and Brett Reeder of Denver, Colorado; nine great grandchildren, Kale, Lane and Emily Smith, Jurnee Young, Ainslee Corder, C.J., Sutton, Ellanor and Walker Corder.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, January 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Oslo Lutheran Church with Rev. Arlen R. Lloyd officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Reeder family will greet friends Thursday evening January 21st between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
