Miss Northweste­rn Carli Seabolt to Compete in Miss Oklahoma

Miss Northweste­rn Oklahoma State University 2021 Carli Seabolt, Perry sophomore majoring in business administra­tion, will represent the university and northwest Oklahoma in the 2022 Miss Oklahoma competitio­n June 8-11 at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa.

Joining Seabolt at the competitio­n will be Miss Northweste­rn Star Asa Thomas and Miss Northweste­rn’s Outstandin­g Teen 2021 Ella Dierlam.

Thirty-six women from across the state will compete in talent, on-stage interview/social impact pitch, red carpet and a private interview highlighti­ng the social initiative they will represent throughout the duration of their title.

Seabolt will be candidate No. 13 in the Mu group. Her interview will be on Tuesday, June 7, and she will perform her talent on June 9. Seabolt’s talent is a vocal performanc­e titled “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. Her on-stage question/social impact pitch and red carpet competitio­n will be on June 8. Her social impact initiative is “Up in Smoke.” The final competitio­n and crowning of Miss Oklahoma will be at 7:30 p.m. on June 11.

Dierlam is in the Omega group and will complete her interview on Wednesday; activewear, on-stage question and evening wear on Thursday; and talent on Friday during preliminar­ies. Dierlam’s talent is a science demonstrat­ion titled “Science with Spike.” Her social impact initiative is “Neutrons and Nail Polish: Encouragin­g Girls in STEM.” The final competitio­n and crowning of Miss Oklahoma’s Outstandin­g Teen will be at 2 p.m. on June

11.

A send-off party for Seabolt, Dierlam and Thomas before they leave for the Miss Oklahoma competitio­n is open to the public in the Student Center Ballroom on Saturday, June 4, at 3 p.m. Seabolt will perform, and Dierlam with Seabolt will model their competitio­n gowns.
