Oklahoma Veterans to take Honor Flight April 18

The Board of Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight is proud to announce that on April 18, 67 Oklahoma Veterans will take an all-expense paid flight to visit their War Memorials in Washington D.C. This flight, like all previous ones, includes Veterans who served during WWWII, Korea and Vietnam conflicts. The welcome ceremony, dinner and presentati­on for the Veterans and Guardians will begin on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Hard Rock Hotel

and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Hard Rock has been a sponsoring partner for all Oklahoma Warrior Honor Flights, and the organizati­on thanks them for their generous support. Veterans will stay at the Hard Rock Hotel the night of April 17th and be transporte­d early the morning of the 18th to the Tulsa World Airport for travel on a chartered American Airlines plane to Washington D.C. before returning on the evening of the same day.

The Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight relies on the support of the community and encourages individual­s and groups to join them at the Tulsa Airport for a great send-off Tuesday morning and/or a special welcome home Tuesday evening. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed to participat­e in the welcome ceremonies April 17, 2023. The Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight is a non-profit organizati­on whose mission is to transport Oklahoma Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials at no cost to the Veteran.
