Guymon Chamber salutes Golden Mesa Casino

The Guymon Chamber of Commerce recognizes Golden Mesa Casino as its 2024 Febraury Business Spotlight.

Golden Mesa Casino held its grand opening Sept. 12, 2019. It broke ground for an expansion in September 2023.

Golden Mesa Casino has more than 600 electric games, as well as table games. The casino offers the Silver Saddle Gift Shop with high end brand name merchandise, the Copper Cantina Restaurant to grab a bite to eat, and the Golden Spur Bar to quench your thirst.

With the expansion, the Golden Mesa Casino will be doubling the casino floor, adding 400 more games, additional restaurant and bar opportunities, and a 100-room hotel.

Golden Mesa Casino is very active in the community. It hosts a charity golf tournament each year and chooses three local charities to donate those funds to.

The maintenance team at the casino is an integral part of the set up and tear down for the Home for the Holidays Light Festival.

The casino encourages employees to volunteer and to be active in the community. If an employee has an idea for an event, fundraiser, or community activity, everyone works together to be supportive and to make it happen.

The employees recently started a Sunshine Fund to benefit fellow employees in times of need. The employees can choose to wear jeans on Friday and Saturday. If they choose to do so, they contribute $5 to the Sunshine Fund. With more than 150 employees, that can really make a difference quickly!

Golden Mesa Casino was chosen as the February Business Spotlight in recognition of the things that they do in the community.
