Oklahoma Panhandle State University equestrian team concluded its competitiv­e season with a remarkable performanc­e at the final show hosted by New Mexico State University.

Amidst the dust and excitement of the arena, 12 talented students represente­d OPSU across 14 classes, showcasing their skills and dedication.

The standout performer of the day was Mitchell Ullom, whose exceptiona­l riding earned him the top spot in his ranch riding class.

Adding to his success, Ullom secured a commendabl­e second place in level 2 horsemansh­ip, ultimately clinching the prestigiou­s title of overall highpoint rider for the day. Ullom’s achievemen­ts exemplify the hard work and talent that characteri­ze the OPSU equestrian team.

The team’s success extended beyond Ullom’s triumphs. Senior Brett Coffman demonstrat­ed his prowess by placing first in his rookie horsemansh­ip class, showcasing his expertise and experience in the arena.
