Heritage Village Museum and Educationa­l Center will host A Night for the Museum at 7 p.m. May 21 at Mill Race Banquet Center, 1515 W. Sharon Road. This gala event will have a 1940’s theme. Enjoy the event in person or virtually.

In-person attendees can dance to 1940’s swing music played by the Matt Tolentino Trio. Josef Otmar portraying a WWII soldier will be the emcee. Meet interprete­rs portraying Eleanor Roosevelt and Rosie the Riveter. View 1940’s artifacts. Tickets are $40 per person. Virtual attendees can enjoy a video hosted by Sharonvill­e Mayor, Kevin Hardman, with special guests author Jeff Suess discussing Cincinnati in the 1940’s, Jessica Michna portraying Eleanor Roosevelt, Father Dale speaking about Union Terminal, and Executive Director Steve Preston speaking about the Village. There is no charge to watch the video, but donations are encouraged.

Both virtual and in-person attendees can bid in the online silent auction. Auction items include: Period Dinner, Escape the Village (escape room experience), Best Seat in the House (package for next year’s event), antiques, dining and entertainm­ent gift certificat­es, gift baskets, and much more! Bidding will close at 9:30 p.m. on May 21.

This is the largest annual fundraiser for Heritage Village Museum and Educationa­l Center. Proceeds from this event help to preserve the historic buildings in the Village and provide quality educationa­l programs throughout the year. CONTRIBUTE­D
