garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10-11 and June 17-18 at 2204 Central Ave. Donations are accepted from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The last day for drop offs is June 4. No donations will be accepted on May 28.

Requested items include linens, kitchen items, small appliances, tools, decorative items, sport equipment, furniture, garden tools, craft and office items, electronic­s that work, shoes, purses, hats, scarves, jewelry, games, puzzles, toys, books, CD’s, DVD’s and records. Bring clean, new/ gently used donations. No clothing, TVs or large exercise equipment.

This year’s gala, which was originally scheduled for 2020, will honor Physician Hero, Raymond Kiefhaber, MD. The gala will also honor two Community Heroes, Dr. Bruce and Neila Barnes.

The Joie de Vivre gala will host a silent auction with proceeds supporting the Joy of Movement campaign. There will also be a $20 President’s Choice Bourbon Raffle, where one person will win five bourbons and be invited to a bourbon tasting for two with Dr. Bricking and his wife, Cindy. The community can place their bids on auction and raffle items by visiting https:// joy.givesmart.com. The silent auction and raffle will close at 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Winners selected need not be present to win.

Gala guests will experience a festive evening with cocktails, dinner, dancing, silent auction, raffle, and some fun surprises. This year’s emcee is former Cincinnati Bengals quarterbac­k Ken Anderson.

Cincinnati, The ReUnion of Souls. The ReUnion of Souls is made up of the original founding members of the Blessed Union Of Souls, reuniting for the first time in over 10 years. Smash Mouth will take the stage shortly after at 8:30 p.m.

This free patriotic event is taking place on July 3 at Mason Municipal Center and Community Center campus. The fun will begin at 4 p.m. featuring kids’ activities and attraction­s such as interactiv­e inflatable­s, bounce houses, carnival games and more. The comeback trail continued in early April with a blood drive aboard the Bloodmobil­e at the Bioscience Center. The outlook is promising thanks to Heath Science students like junior Morgan Frank and Jordyn Lawson, who both registered to donate Friday on the Bloodmobil­e.
