The 2.439-mile combined road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the scene today as IndyCar drivers gear up to do battle in the GMR Grand Prix, otherwise known as the Grand Prix of Indianapolis. The 14-turn course incorporates portions of Turns 1 and 2 and the front straight of the main oval with an infield portion. Rinus VeeKay found it to his liking a year ago, leading the field 33 of the final 38 laps to become at age 20 the youngest winner of this race.
