Christina on the Coast, 8 PM on HGTV; 12 AM on HGTV: Christina meets a couple who wish for a main floor overhaul that boasts an open concept and a bright, airy vibe in the Season 4 premiere. A dream kitchen will anchor the space and feature a wine bar, statement rattan light fixtures and vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams while dealing with her own bustling family life. Adding to the season lineup, Christina will help repeat clients give their dated bathrooms a modern upgrade and design a resort-worthy pool for her contractor.

Movie: Scentsational Christmas, 8 PM on LIF; 12:01 AM on LIF: Perfumer Ellie (Nazneen Contractor) is tasked by her boss to create a holiday scent that will impress, so she returns to her quaint and festive family home for Christmas to find inspiration. There she meets Logan (Mykee Selkin), who is staying with her father at the family’s historic property, which includes her mother’s former candle-making cottage. As her father struggles to keep her late mother’s candle business afloat, they decide to complete the orders in this 2022 romance.

Movie: The Barefoot Contessa, 8 PM on TCM: In celebration of the channel’s “Star of the Month” Ava Gardner’s 100th birthday (on Dec. 24), this 1954 classic follows the life and death of Maria Vargas (Gardner) as told by people at her funeral recalling who she was and the impact she had on them. Harry Dawes (Humphrey Bogart), an unsuccessful writer/director, and movie producer Kirk Edwards (Warren Stevens) convinced her to take a chance on acting, and she became a huge star lusted after by rich and powerful men, leading to an unhappy life.
