Butler County road work advisories

The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather.

■ Ohio 126 Culvert Replacement and Resurfacing - Resurfacing between Ohio 748 and Ohio 128 and a culvert replacement just east of Morgan Ross Road. Ohio 126 is closed between Morgan Ross Road and Christian Lane through May 31, and traffic will be detoured by way of Ohio 748, Ohio 129, U.S. 27 and Ohio 128. Single-lane restrictions will also be in effect between Ohio 748 and Ohio 128 for paving work and pavement repairs to be completed in advance of resurfacing. During paving operations, traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.

■ Ohio 129 Interchange Improvement - At Liberty Way and I-75. A project by the Butler County Engineer’s Office to extend Ohio 129 east to a roundabout at Cox Road, north of Liberty Way. Eastbound Ohio 129 traffic will use the Cincinnati Dayton Road exit or the Cox Road roundabout to access Liberty Way, and the Ohio 129 exit to Liberty Way will be permanently closed. Construction for the second phase of the project on the west side of the roundabout installation on Cox Road will continue through the spring.

■ U.S. 27 Intersection Improvement - Installation of left-turn lanes in both directions on U.S. 27 at New London Road and Herman Road, and on U.S. 27 South at Ross-Millville Road. Single-lane closures will be in effect today, from 7 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day for pavement work. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the summer.

■ U.S. 127 Bridge Rehabilitation - On the bridges over Mutton Run near Seven Mile and over Tail Race at the Great Miami River in the city of Hamilton. Construction has begun on the Mutton Run structure near Spring Road, and traffic on U.S.127, as well as traffic entering from Spring Road, will be maintained with temporary signals. A date to start work on the Tail Race bridge, north of Black Street at Hamilton, has yet to be determined. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in August.
