LULULEMON REDEFINES HEALTHY LIVING, OCCUPYING AN EAST HAMPTON HOME FOR TWO WEEKS OF WELLNESS PRACTICES. BY LAUREN EPSTEIN

-

Lululemon redefines healthy living, occupying an East Hampton home for two weeks of wellness practices.

There’s no place like home— especially when that home has been taken over by Lululemon. In a concept dubbed The Residency, the activewear giant will turn the stunning East Hampton abode at 4 Kettle Court into a headquarters of health and fitness, inviting locals and out-of-towners alike to experience a two-week immersion in community, connection, and wellness.

The Residency, in session from July 17 to 30, is the Hamptons iteration of Hub Seventeen, Lululemon’s wellness- and communityfocused space in Manhattan’s Flatiron district. The East End experience will embody the spirit and philosophy of Hub Seventeen, with a special focus on yoga practices.

“We hope that Residency guests will come to learn more about yoga philosophy and teachings and carry them into other facets of their lives,” says Carolina Amorim, Lululemon Hub curator. “We encourage guests to take yoga off the mat, out of the studio, and into the open salt air of East Hampton and even further.”

The two-week lineup is brimming with buzz-worthy events and happenings, from the summer’s hottest workout—the Class by Taryn Toomey—on the lawn, to paddleboarding, pool parties, panel discussions with Vice, dinners prepared by local chefs, and more.

“From surfing to cooking, yoga can be present in everything we do through the practices of choice,” says Amorim. “Every Residency-hosted dinner, talk, concert, hike, workout is rooted in a different practice that will ultimately lead to a more purposeful life.”
