IN HER LIFE AS A BROKER, JESSICA J. VON HAGN SELLS WHAT SHE LOVES—THE EAST END.

In her life as a broker, Jessica J. Von Hagn sells what she loves—the East End.

Jessica J. von Hagn moved to the Hamptons for the region’s clean, simple beauty. “It’s funny to equate the Hamptons with simpler,” she says, “but behind the summertime flash, it really is just a beautiful blessed area.” Her first professional dip into the local real estate market was in 2011, when she and her husband bought an investment property in North Haven. “Upon completing a full gut renovation and expansion, I found out I was pregnant with my first child,” she recalls. The couple relocated to North Haven from New York City, and now von Hagn sells the Hamptons lifestyle for a living. Based in the Sag Harbor office of Brown Harris Stevens, she is spreading her roots deep into the community.

Her experience with the East End goes back 20 years, when her parents owned a small real estate investment company that focused on Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, and Sag Harbor. She uses this background, as well as her vision for creating investments in highdemand areas, to propel her business. But it’s also her love for the place that drives her. “From the gorgeous farmland to the pristine bays and oceans, it is a natural paradise,” says von Hagn.

Year round, she loves to grab a drink at Baron’s Cove and the American Hotel in Sag Harbor. Come summer, the choices increase exponentially, including Sunset Beach or Salt on Shelter Island, The Beacon in Sag Harbor, or Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack. “On a typical day off in summer, you’ll find me at Sagg Main Beach,” she says, “or exploring the bays with my two kids or on our boat at some remote beach.” Brown Harris Stevens, 96 Main St., Sag Harbor, 631-903-6189; bhshamptons.com
