Fa­vorite Hamp­tons restau­rant, bar, or café: Com­man­der Cody’s on Shel­ter Is­land is by far my fa­vorite Hamp­tons restau­rant be­cause of one item: the fried chicken. The space is com­pletely unas­sum­ing, the staff is nice but un­pre­dictable at times (don’t be sur­prised if they tell you there’s no food left when it’s busy), and the seafood is lo­cal. But the fried chicken is what keeps me com­ing back. When do you know it’s sum­mer? When oys­ters and Cham­pagne make for a per­fect din­ner.
