QUES­TION 2

The Courant rec­om­mends a yes* vote on the ques­tion ask­ing if the state Con­sti­tu­tion should be amended to re­quire a pub­lic hear­ing on any sale or dis­po­si­tion of state land and a two-thirds vote of the Gen­eral Assem­bly be­fore trans­fer­ring prop­erty, such as state parks, that are un­der the con­trol of the De­part­ment of Agri­cul­ture and the De­part­ment of En­ergy and En­vi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion.
