QUESTION 2

The Courant recommends a yes* vote on the question asking if the state Constituti­on should be amended to require a public hearing on any sale or dispositio­n of state land and a two-thirds vote of the General Assembly before transferri­ng property, such as state parks, that are under the control of the Department of Agricultur­e and the Department of Energy and Environmen­tal Protection.
