Blaming Trump Exacerbates Strife

-

Many Democrats, their supporters and an abundance of media voices have been quite outspoken in blaming President Trump for the slaughter of Jews at the Pittsburgh synagogue. These false accusations will do nothing more than promulgate more strife within the American populace.

It’s that type of rhetoric that helps drive hateful reactions and violence. The nastiness needs to stop, no matter the political position taken.

It seems one thing that drives the far left is Trump hatred. And Democratic politicians either join the far left or refrain from criticizing it in Democrats’ perceived need to achieve support.

Insofar as blaming President Trump for the Pittsburgh atrocity, it just does not make sense. He has appointed many Jews to high-ranking positions in his administration. His daughter Ivanka and her children are Jewish. He has been an ardent supporter of Israel. His administration has worked to improve relations between Israel and her Arab neighbors.

Jews have been the uninterrupted target of anti-Semitism for 2,500 years, often resulting in their slaughter. Anti-Semitism is strong and growing in Europe. It continues in Middle Eastern countries. Most alarming, driven by leftists, it’s thriving on American college and university campuses.
