Shaun Hunter scored b a c k- t o - b a c k rushing touchdowns in Windsor’s CCC Div. II East win at Hartford Public, a 36-6 victory. Windsor (6-2) added to the early lead on two touchdown passes from Courtenay Jackson and a Malik Cobb 17-yard run.

Hartford Public (1-7) put its only points on the board with an 11-yard pass from Jermaine Jones to Kahari Palmer in the third.

Simsbury 34, Manchester 19: Mark Bedson rushed for over 200 yards and Simsbury topped Manchester in a CCC home interdivis­ion game. Bedson had 32 carries for 252 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson Butler was 7-for-11 for 89 yards and added 69 yards and two TDs for Simsbury (3-5). Logan Tomlinson was 17-for-26 for 220 yards and two TDs and added 62 yards and a score for Manchester (2-6).

Stafford/East Windsor/Somers 21, Ellington 0: Julien Rivas rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns and the Stafford co-op defense held Ellington scoreless in a Pequot Uncas road win. Johnny Kopek led the defense with 10 tackles and three sacks, Kody Messier had 10 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery, and Cody Gebo had five tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery for Stafford (8-0), which clinches its first Uncas title since 1996.

Old Saybrook/Westbrook 34, North Branford 8: Landis Twomey rushed for three second half touchdowns and Old Saybrook/ Westbrook defeated North Branford at home in Pequot Sassacus action. Jack McDowell added two rushing TDs for OSW (4-3). Brandon Fratta had the lone TD for North Branford (2-6).

Windsor Locks/ Suffield/East Granby 41, Coventry/ Windham Tech/Bolton/Lyman Memorial 20: In Windsor Locks, Miguel Gonzalez rushed for four touchdowns to lead the Windsor Locks co-op to a Pequot Uncas win over the Coventry co-op. Eric Pino had an 85-yard kickoff return for a TD and added a rushing TD in the fourth for Windsor Locks (3-4).

Sheehan 47, Bassick 12: All three of Aaron Simmons’ catches went for touchdowns in Sheehan’s SCC Tier 3 win over Bassick. Terrence Bogan had six carries for 138 yards and two TDs and Wes Terzi finished 5-for-11 with 130 yards and four touchdowns for Sheehan (6-1).

Deerfield Academy 34, Cheshire Academy 14: An 80-yard opening kickoff return by Quinton Quirrenbac­h led Deerfield’s win over Cheshire Academy.
