Winchester threw for 231 yards and a touchdown for the Blue Devils.
Trinty 61, Bowdoin 7: At Hartford, DeVante Reid caught six passes for four touchdowns and a schoolrecord 246 yards as the Bantams evened their season record with the NESCAC win.
Trinity quarterback Seamus Lambert competed 13 of 18 passes for 391 yards, five TD and no interceptions. Lambert’s scoring passes to Reid were of 23, 77, 57 and 70 yards.
Spencer Lockwood pitched in with 72 yards and rushing and two scores as the Bantams built up a 33-0 halftime lead. Trinity outgained the 0-2 Polar Bears 573-197.
Wesleyan 28, Hamilton 10: At Clinton, N.Y., sophomore quarterback Ashton Scott passed for 170 yards and three touchdowns as the Cardinals improved to 2-0 on the season with the NESCAC road win.
Wesleyan opened the scoring late in the first when Scott connected with Joe Scancarella for a 30yard touchdown. With a 7-3 halftime lead the Cardinals used a strong second half to put the game away.
Scott teamed up with Connor Gregoire twice for TDs and Ben Thaw put an exclamation point on the win with a 31-yard interception return for a score.
Scott spread the ball around, hooking up with six different receivers while also rushing for 82 yards.
Sacred Heart 34, Long Island 10: At Old Westbury, N.Y., Logan Marchi passed for 375 yards and his three touchdown strikes in the second quarter propelled the Pioneers in a Northeast Conference opener.
The Pioneers (3-1) entered the second quarter trailing 7-6 but scored on their next three possessions. Marchi capped a nine-play, 88-yard drive with an 11-yard scoring pass to Tyrese Chambers, then found Del Driscoll from the 10 after the Pioneers got the ball back on a fumble and hit Chambers again from 60 yards out for a 27-7 halftime lead.
Julius Chestnut added a 44-yard touchdown run late in the game. Chestnut rushed for 141 yards, while Chambers had 144 yards receiving.
Norwich 17, Coast Guard 14: At Northfield, Vt., Clyde Tamburro connected on a 26-yard field goal on the last play of the game for the NEWMAC win.
Ryan Jones passed got 143 yards and a TD, a 76-yard pass to Damaso Jaime, and also ran for 24 yards and another score to lead the Bears.
