Prime Minister Boris Johnson and fiancee Carrie Symonds named their baby boy Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson in honor of their grandfathers and doctors who saved the U.K. leader’s life when he was hospitalized with COVID-19.

Symonds made the announcement on Instagram Saturday, posting a picture of her cradling her 3-day-old son and explaining the name choice.

The birth came days after Johnson returned to work following his hospitalization for the coronavirus. He spent a week at London’s St. Thomas’ hospital, including three nights in intensive care.

Johnson was present for the birth but back at 10 Downing St. within hours.
