Goodspeed Musicals has ramped up its online programming with several regular weekly shows. The participants may not to break into song or start dancing wildly, but they are passionate musical theater fans who engage in lively discussions of musicals past, present and future.

The amusingly titled “Greatspeed” looks back at famous productions from the theater’s 57-year history, with clips, photos and commentary. A recent episode recalled how Rodgers & Hammerstein’s massive “Showboat” got shoehorned onto the small Goodspeed Opera House stage. The next episode, May 26 at 7 p.m., features the stars
