Mariano “Erik” Mora, 30, of East Hartford, passed away unexpected­ly on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born January 9, 1991 in Hartford, son of Veronica Adamovich of East Hartford and the late Mariano Mora. He graduated from Cheney Tech in 2009, he won first place in Carpentry at the Skills USA Competitio­n. He had an Associate Degree in Architectu­ral Building/Engineerin­g Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Constructi­on Management Technology. After college he enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2012 and was honorably discharged in 2020. He enjoyed working for Ericsson Telecommun­ications, seeing new heights on a daily basis. Erik enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was an avid gamer and loved to play Phase 10. He is survived by his Mother, Veronica, his sister, Mariah Mora both of East Hartford, his sister Jennifer West and her husband Matthew, his nephew and God Son Elliott, he also leaves his aunts Arline AdamovichW­itek and her husband Mark and their son Duncanwhom Erik considered a brother, Judy Noble and her husband Curtiss of NC, his maternal grandparen­ts Robert and Tee Adamovich, his paternal grandmothe­r Catalina Mora, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. He was predecease­d by his father Mariano Mora and his maternal grandmothe­r Norma Adamovich. Relatives and friends may join the family on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 2-5 PM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT. Please abide by CDC and state guidelines.
