Pacheco, Adelino A.

Adelino Augusto Pacheco, 94, husband of the late Bernadete Pacheco, of West Hartford, transitioned to eternal rest on February 23, 2021, at his home. He was born in Matanca, Fornos de Algodres, Portugal, son of the late Antonio Pacheco and Maria dos Anjos Rosa. Andelino and his wife Were married for 58 years and lived in Angola for 22 years, where he became a Chief of Police, before moving to the USA in 1975. He worked for Harford Hospital until his retirement. Adelino dedicated his life to his family, work, and church community at Our Lady of Fatima where he was an active member for many years. He enjoyed gardening and had a love for animals. He is survived by his daughter Maria de Lourdes Pacheco and a son, George Pacheco and his wife Maria do Ceu Pacheco, grandchildren, Michael, Phill, George and wife Mabel, Christopher and his wife Sabryne and Victoria. Great Granddaughters Lucy and Arabella. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Portugal, and many friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Leopoldina, Zulmira and twin brother Antonio.

All services for Adelino will be privately held at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave, Newington. He will be lovingly laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery with his beloved wife Bernadete. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's choice.
