Harold James Cromack, 82, of Newington passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side Wednesday evening April 14, 2021. Hal was born on August 24, 1938 in Hartford to the late Helen Kalinoski Cromack and Harold Francis Cromack. Hal grew up in Unionville and graduated from Farmington High School in 1956. Hal attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine and graduated from the University of Bridgeport. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in the Purchasing Department for 35 years, ending his career as a Purchasing Manager. Hal married Judith Ann Cosham from West Hartford in 1962. Hal and Judy have three children; Holly Linton who lives in Tolland, H. Todd Cromack also from Tolland and Shawn Cromack from Tomball, Texas. Hal and Judy are proud to have six grandchild­ren who are Casey and Noah Linton, Danielle and Dylan Cromack and Justin and Taylor Cromack. Hal loved sports his entire life. With his family he attended many Red Sox games at Fenway Park and enjoyed seeing the Hartford Whalers at the Civic Center in Hartford. He played all sports at Farmington High and was a member of the Newington Tennis Associatio­n and played golf at Indian Hill Country Club with Judy. For many years Hal and Judy spent the winter in Florida and traveled to many Caribbean islands. They traveled to Europe several times and visited China.
